IrfanView is not a converter in the strict sense of the term. Rather, it is a very light, practical and easy to use image viewer that includes some functions to process photos in series. I recommend that you rely on him for convert PNG to JPG under Windows.
You can download IrfanView on your PC simply by connecting to its official website and clicking on the item first Download (in the left sidebar) and then on the item FossHub - download IrfanView. To download it to your computer, connect to its official website and click on the button Win 64bit setup o Win 32bit setup if you use a Windows PC with a 64-bit or 32-bit operating system or on the button 64-bit OSX if you use a Mac.
Once the download is complete, if you are using a Windows PC, open the XnView MP installation package (eg. XnViewMP-win-x64.exe) and click on the buttons Yes, OK e NEXT; then put the check mark next to the item I accept the terms of the license agreement and complete the setup by clicking on first NEXT for four consecutive times and then on Install e end.
If you are using a Mac, to install XnView MP on your computer, you need to open the archive tgz that contains the program and copy it into the folder Applications of macOS. If you have Photoshop installed on your computer and you want to use it to convert PNG files to JPG, go to the menu Fillet located at the top left and selects the items Script> Image Processor from the latter. It does not require registration and can be used for a maximum number of 20 files at a time for a total weight of 50MB.
To convert PNG images to JPG using PNG to JPG, connect to the home page of the service and drag the images to convert into the browser window (or use the button Upload files to select them "manually"). When the operation is completed, wait for the file upload to be completed, press the button Download everything and the images in JPG format will be automatically downloaded to your computer.
Another online solution that you can rely on is CloudConvert: it is a universal converter that allows you to convert between them a wide range of images, documents, compressed archives and many other types of files. It works without using any external plugin (eg Flash Player or Java) but has an upload limit of 10 simultaneous conversions per day and 1GB of weight.
To convert your photos with CloudConvert, connected to the home page of the service, click on the button Select files and select the PNG files to convert to JPG (or simply drag and drop the images into the browser window). Next, click on the button Start conversion, wait for the site to complete its task and download the final photos by clicking on the button Download that appears next to their name.
