Do you need to renew your WhatsApp subscription on Android but don't have a credit card to use for payment? No problem. WhatsApp supports various payment methods, including the very famous PayPal and telephone credit (only for some operators), which do not necessarily require the use of a credit card.
All you have to do is select the service that best suits your needs and fill in the payment request with your account data: an operation that can be completed in a few seconds without additional costs compared to standard payment by credit card or prepaid card. UPDATE: from the end of January 2016 there is no longer any need to pay for the WhatsApp subscription. The application has become free on all platforms and therefore the indications below are no longer valid.
Let's start by seeing how to pay Android WhatsApp without credit card for its users. In this case, the first step you need to take is to start the app, press the button Menu located at the top right (the icon with the three dots) and select the item Settings give the menu to compare.
At this point, go to Account> Payment Info put the check mark next to the item relating to the type of subscription you want to subscribe: 1 year (€ 0,89), 3 years (€ 2,40) o 5 years (€ 3,34) e pulsing sul pulsating Google Wallet. Then press the button Buy Now, expand the drop-down menu with the subscription price (top right, in the box that appears) and "tap" on the item Payment methods.
Among the available payment methods you will surely find PayPal (button Add PayPal) while the option to pay with the telephone credit it is available only for some operators (eg Wind) and only if you are connected to the Internet via 3G / LTE data network. Then select the method you prefer, if you have chosen PayPal enter the authentication data of your account and complete the transaction by following the instructions on the screen.
Another way to pay WhatsApp Android without credit card is to generate a link to make payment on PayPal or Google Wallet via computer. Just press the button Send URL for payment which is located at the bottom of the WhatsApp screen for choosing a subscription and sending the link generated to your e-mail address (or that of a friend / relative if you want to make another person pay for the subscription).
Subsequently, it will be possible to open the link contained in the WhatsApp email and subscribe to the one-year subscription to the service directly from the computer by clicking on the PayPal and Google Wallet buttons. As mentioned above, it is also possible to pay for the WhatsApp subscription on behalf of other users: give the subscription to the service, in simple terms. To perform this operation on Android you must first start the app, then you have to press the button Menu located at the top right (the icon with the three dots) and select the item Settings from the menu that opens.
At this point, go to the section Contacts, select the voice Pay for a friend and press the button Select a contact to choose the person to whom to give the subscription to WhatsApp (who must be in the list of your contacts). So choose which type of subscription to pay: 1 year, 3 years o 5 years (the prices are those mentioned previously) and presses the button Google Wallet to complete the transaction using PayPal or telephone credit, as seen a few lines above.
