How to see who blocked your stories on WhatsApp

Preliminary information

Before explaining to you how to see who blocked your stories on WhatsApp, I must provide you with some useful preliminary information in this regard.

In fact, you must know that, for obvious reasons related to privacy, WhatsApp does not allow you to know the exact names of those who apply blocks on their stories. However, there are alternative solutions that, as I will explain to you in the following chapters, could allow you to achieve the desired result.

Therefore, the ones I will tell you about shortly are solutions that cannot guarantee you 100% success. Either way, there's no harm in trying, and with a little cunning, you may be able to get the information you're looking for. Good luck for everything!

Check the deactivation of stories

The first thing I advise you to do, to succeed in the intent you have proposed, is to check if the reason why you no longer see the contents published in the states of WhatsApp of a person is due to an error.

It is possible, in fact, that you have mistakenly turned off the display of stories for that specific person. If so, you can restore the view at any time.

To do this, first launch the WhatsApp, tap on the tab State and check if the wording is present Updates disabled.

If so, click on it and you will be able to see the names of the users for whom you have disabled WhatsApp status. At this point, keep your finger pressed at the name of the user for whom you are interested in restoring the display of WhatsApp statuses; finally confirm by pressing the button Attiva. Facile, see?

See the stories with another issue

Alternatively, to find out if a person has blocked you from seeing their statuses WhatsApp, you could try to log into the app using another account, i.e. another number.

In this specific case, however, certain specific conditions must be met to be successful: you will need to have a second phone number to access WhatsApp and the person of your interest must also have the number in question among their contacts. In short, the ideal would be to try from the phone of a mutual friend.

In addition, the WhatsApp statuses shared by the user in question must have been shared with all contacts and that, therefore, no restrictions have been applied through the privacy settings menu.

In the event that any of these conditions were to occur, all you need to do is log in to WhatsApp from the phone of friends (or in any case with a number other than yours in the contacts of the person who may have blocked you) and go to the section State.

In case you were to be able to see the WhatsApp statuses for the person of your interest, you may have actually been blocked; if not, it could be that the person in question has actually stopped sharing content in that section of the app.

Check out Facebook Stories

If you believe that a person present in your contacts of WhatsApp prevented you from seeing the statuses it posts, you could try to see if this user's content has also been posted on Facebook.

The WhatsApp app, in fact, has an integrated feature that allows you to share WhatsApp status also on Facebook. Therefore, if the person of your interest used to publish the contents of WhatsApp status also on the well-known social network owned by Mark Zuckerberg, you could check if they are visible on his Facebook profile.

To do this, then, start the Facebook or connected to the official website of the well-known social network, then, go to the profile of the user of your interest, press on his profile picture and, in the menu that is shown to you, presses on the item View the story, to see the eventual history of WhatsApp also published on Facebook.

In the event that this element was present, you may have actually been blocked on WhatsApp. If you believe that this is all due to a mistake, you can try to contact the person and ask them to unblock you.
