The cloud is going expanding rapidly both in the business and consumer sectors. There are currently over 3.4 billion people around the world using the internet, or over 46.1% of the entire population. IP traffic will exceed 1 Zettabyte in 2016 and 2 Zettabytes in 2019. Global IP traffic has increased 5 times in the last 5 years and will grow 3 times more in the next 5 years.

Every day they are created 2.5 quintillion of data, 90% of the current data was created in the last 2 years, and it is expected that in 2020 1.7 MB of data will be created every second by every person in the world. In 2019, internet traffic will be 64 times greater than in 2005.



There are currently 1,571 million users in the cloud, and it is expected that they will soon grow to reach 2,045 million in 2019. In 2020, one third of all data will be in the cloud, and companies will invest up to 191 billion dollars in cloud services, compared to 72 million invested in 2014.

70 million smartphones lose their data every year, and only 7% of them manage to recover data. 24% of people who own a PC have never made a computer backup, and only the8% perform a backup everyday. Even 37% of people who have a smartphone do not perform a backup, seriously risking losing important data.
