LinkedIn (Android / iOS)
I could not start this tutorial dedicated to the best applications to look for work without mentioning LinkedIn, the largest professional network on the planet. Today LinkedIn is used by millions of users around the world to offer and / or search for work, as well as to maintain meaningful contacts from a professional point of view.
As soon as you have installed the LinkedIn app on your Android or iOS device, open the application by tapping on apri or by pressing the application icon on the Home of your smartphone / tablet. As soon as you have done this, create a free account using the appropriate form that you will find in front of you.
If you do not know how to create a LinkedIn profile, I invite you to read the guide I have prepared in this regard which, in addition to explaining how to create an account on LinkedIn, will also provide you with practical suggestions on how to use this particular social network. If, on the other hand, you already have a LinkedIn account, enter your login credentials in the appropriate fields and press on Log in.
As soon as you have access to your LinkedIn account, make sure that your profile is completed in all its parts: there must be a photo that reflects your profession, information about yours must be entered training and yours work experiences current and / or previous, etc. To build a “winning” LinkedIn profile, I invite you once again to carefully read my guide on how LinkedIn works. I'm sure you will find it particularly useful.
As soon as you have built a valid LinkedIn profile, you can finally start looking for work! To be able to do this, all you have to do is press on arrow placed at the top left and, from the screen that you will see, press on the option Work (icon of briefcase). After pressing the briefcase icon, you can use the search bar at the top to search for a new job position. Then tap on the search bar, type the type of job you are looking for (eg. If the solutions I have proposed so far have not particularly impressed you, try CornerJob, a platform that allows you to search for (and offer) work quickly and easily. This service also requires free registration, just like the services we have extensively talked about in the previous paragraphs.
Now you have to customize your profile by answering the short questionnaire that CornerJob offers you. For example, to the question Do you have work experience? indicates Yes if you have already worked or No if you are looking for your first work experience. If you answer Yes, obviously you will have to indicate all the work experiences you have collected over time. Therefore specify the languages che parli fluently (es. English, Spanish, etc.), it degree of education that you have reached (Diploma, Degree, etc.) and any other information that can help you find a job.
After completing your CornerJob profile, you can finally start looking for a new job. How? Very simple, just press the icon Look for work (on the left) and type in the search field the profession for which you want to apply (eg. Clerk o Freelance Editor). At the end of the search, scroll the page with the results to find the job advertisement that is right for you and press the button Nominees to submit your application.
